Caterina thinks her mother as a Queen, sometimes evil, sometimes good; the doorman is ogre Latronio and the city is populated by dragons, witches and knights. Drawing his sword, Belcillotto protects her from danger. Then Belcillotto turns back into Francesco and asks Caterina’s mother if she can go play with him. “Come – says Caterina as they walk towards the park. – I will show you my kingdom”.

GABRIELE CLIMA is an author and illustrator. He has published several books for different readers, from picture books to young adults novels. His books are translated in 18 countries in the world. In 2017, he won the Italian Andersen Prize and in the same year he was selected for the IBBY International Collection of Outstanding Books for Young People with Disabilities. In 2020 he entered in the White Ravens international selection with the book Black boys.

LORENZO SANGIÒ is an Italian illustrator. His books are published in Italian, Spanish, French, Catalan, English. After graduating in Visual Arts from the Brescia Academy of Fine Arts, he devoted himself to Illustration. In 2018, he exhibited in Sarmede and Paris. He attended the Ars in Fabula Master’s course and his thesis project was published in 2019. In the same year, he won the “Illustrator of the Year” award promoted by Città del Sole.
